OPTION CLAUSE: The Purchaser reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantity to be ordered up to 25 percent of bid quantity at the time of placement of contract. The purchaser also reserves the right to increase the ordered quantity up to 25% of the contracted quantity during the currency of the contract at the contracted rates. The delivery period of quantity shall commence from the last date of original delivery order and in cases where option clause is exercised during the extended delivery period the additional time shall commence from the last date of extended delivery period. The additional delivery time shall be (Increased quantity Ć· Original quantity) Ć Original delivery period (in days), subject to minimum of 30 days. If the original delivery period is less than 30 days, the additional time equals the original delivery period. The Purchaser may extend this calculated delivery duration up to the original delivery period while exercising the option clause. Bidders must comply with these terms.
Bidders are advised to check applicable GST on their own before quoting. Buyer will not take any responsibility in this regards. GST reimbursement will be as per actuals or as per applicable rates (whichever is lower), subject to the maximum of quoted GST %.

The item shall be supplied as per the Speciļ¬cation is enclosed. Deviation in speciļ¬cation if any m ay be separately attached and enclose signed and sealed copy of the technical speciļ¬cation, as a token to acceptance to the tendered item's specification.
The bidder shall oļ¬er the price on "F.O. R Salem Steel Plant" basis in GeM portal including P&F ch arges, Freight & Insurance Charges etc. with applicable taxes & duties.
The payment shall be "100% within 30 days after receipt and acceptance of the item at Salem St eel Plant Stores".
Unless otherwise speciļ¬ed in the tender terms, the inspection will be at Salem Steel Plant after re ceipt of the consignment.
The bidder shall not quote/attach any price/price bid format along with their technical oļ¬er. The o ffer of such bidder will be summarily rejected.
The bidder shall submit Guarantee Certificate along with the supply.
The prices shall be kept firm till supplies are completed.
The MSE preference's shall only be given to bidders subject to submission/veriļ¬cation of valid Ud yam Certificate.
Quantity is divisible in case of MSE Preference.
Delivery Schedule: 16 Weeks from the date of order placement.
The applicable EMD amount for is Rs.5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand Only). However, bidders can submi t "Bid Securing Declaration" in lieu of EMD which is attached in the Form 1, dully signed & sealed.
Documents required as per Eligibility criteria including GST certiļ¬cate, authorisation letter, past p urchase orders and self-declarations.
The bidder shall submit "Undertaking forms- Form-1 on letterhead , Acceptance forms (Form 2 t o Form 4), i.e. Eligibility criteria forms, Decl. for Speciļ¬cation and terms & Conditions, Land border certiļ¬cate and checklist duly signed along with the tender and other documents, as sought in eligi bility criteria, along with their technical offer.
